The Varna 2 Handbike

Varna Handcycles have sponsored Matt the latest model Varna 2 handbike which has developed over the years into one of the most practical handbikes on the market. Matt is looking forward to trying out the new model and some of the latest features found on the handbike.

Semi-Recumbent Position for Greater Comfort

The rider is seated in a semi-recumbent position for greater comfort. This position also enables the rider to apply power more efficiently. The steering / crank column lifts up and away from the seat while simultaneously raising the seat for easy transfer. The column quickly adjusts to individual arm lengths, and the footrests adjust telescopically. The picture above shows the Varna 2 handbike with all terrain wheels but it is also available with racing wheels for those that enjoy speed.
